Please allow me to introduce myself
Music is an addiction. When it comes to live music, I am hooked.
There are many music styles I’m a fan of, but my heart was forged with heavy music. My first concert was in the late 20th century seeing Megadeth, with openers Flotsam and Jetsam, Fear Factory, and a band that no one had really heard of at the time, Korn.
It melted my face off, my ears rang for days, and I have been in love with live music ever since.
In essence, I created this website for me. As a product of Generation X, I have my love for hair metal bands that used too much Aqua Net like Poison, but also enjoy the vocal styles of gargling razor blades of Whitechapel.
Since I live in the Kansas City area, and like hitting up shows when I can (to the dismay of my budget), I wanted to create my own hub to hear about upcoming shows coming through. So, here we are.
Today the site launches with enough to get started, but additional features will be added moving forward.

It’s always a joy to see a local band open up for a touring act, and Delightfully Aggressive definitely wants to highlight our local musicians.
