About Delightfully Aggressive

What We Do

Delightfully Aggressive is your go-to source for metal, hardcore, and hard rock shows in Kansas City. We automatically aggregate concert listings from venues across the metro area, so you never miss a heavy show. But, we occassionaly have to do some manual additions. So if we are missing something, please let us know on the Contact page.

How It Works

Our system searches Ticketmaster's API every 4 hours, filtering through hundreds of events to find only the relevant shows. We use a combination of genre tags, keywords, and a curated list of bands to make sure we're showing you the good stuff.

Can't find a show that should be here? We manually add DIY shows, small venue gigs, and anything else that slips through the cracks.

Why We Built This

Kansas City has an incredible heavy music family, but finding shows was always scattered across different venues, social networks, and word of mouth. We wanted one place to see everything happening in the KC metal and hardcore community.

Coverage Area

We cover venues within a 50-mile radius of Kansas City, including spots in both Kansas and Missouri, plus Lawrence and surrounding areas. If it's heavy and it's within driving distance, we want it here.
