May Your Concert Memories Be A Blessing
In 2023 I was looking for a way to track the concerts I had attended, and instead of using a spreadsheet I found something much more fun.
I stumbled upon Concert Archives, a website/app that has a magnificent database of past and future shows. Users can upload their concert photos, track their attendance, and even see possible set lists for upcoming shows on their calendar.
Delightfully Aggressive is not affiliated with Concert Archives, other than being a fan of the site and like what it does.
A Social Network for Showgoers
In addition to tracking show attendance, Concert Archives is also a social network for us music fans.
For example, my profile is located at https://www.concertarchives.org/ericjgruber, and I’m more than happy to friend a fellow music lover. Maybe I’ll discover a new artist. Maybe you’ll question my music taste. No matter what, it’s a fun way to easily track concerts. It’s free to use, but you can also support their effort on Patreon.
Verified Band Listings
Bands can verify their presence on the Concert Archives app, and I think this would be especially useful for local bands trying to get the word out.
To verify a band, you must be in one of the following categories:
- Band members
- Solo artists
- Managers
- Agents
- Other band representatives
Bands can verify their listing on the Verify Your Band page.
It’s time to put those spreadsheets away. Take some pictures, attend some shows, and find your music fan family over at Concert Archives.
